Come here during the week for lunch. Only open for lunch. You do not come here for the atmosphere, you come down here to eat simple good Tex Mex.
They make their own tostadas chips and tortilla as well.
Chips are always fresh. I could use the salsa a bit more spicy but that me. I love the Grilled Chicken breast.
I come here a lot and have never been disappointed so far. It can get full quick around 12:00 parking lot as well. -

Came in for a quick lunch with my Director if Electronics, while in town.
Walked in and was seated quickly. Fresh chips and salsa whisked out to the table before the waitress and drinks could be seen. The chips are the perfect thickness. The chip doesn't become soggy and creates an even crunch break in the chip leaving less crumbs or none at all. It's like the perfect chip... but the salsa was just okay. My recommendation? Mix up your rice and beans from your entree and use that as your dip with those awesome slightly salty chips.
After my order came out right, 15 minutes after it was wrong, the chicken and cheese enchiladas with a fried egg on top was exceptional! I respect the fact that my food was fresh both times. Yolk is left runny and mixes as a sauce with the other dish components. The whites blend perfectly with the enchiladas.
My problem was the service. Predominantly Latina women. Both times she came to double check my order and somehow my plate was still wrong. -

Simply the best Carne Guisada and Chili Rellano anywhere in the world! And we always love the helpful and efficient waitstaff. Never change this place; its our favorite!

First of all, there isn't a sign ON the building anymore. I'm not sure where it went, but there was no sign on the building itself. There IS a sign out by the road, but it would probably be easy to overlook.
Based on the size of the building and all the activity, I suspect this place makes chips, tortillas, etc. for other Mexican / Tex-Mex Restaurants around the area. The chips seemed VERY familiar from other restaurants (although, they weren't hot/warm, which was a bit of a surprise), as were the tortillas (they WERE warm!). To me the tortillas seemed like what you get at the restaurants that don't make their own tortillas, except these seemed a bit fresher.
The food... I had the Enchiladas Montadas. Two cheese enchiladas with chili con carne and two over medium eggs on top with rice & beans along side. I thought everything was very good, although the chili con carne seemed a TOUCH on the greasy side. Nice flavors all the way around, though.
I would definitely go back and I probably will with my dad soon, as I think this place would be right up his alley. -

Great food and great service!!!!! First time coming here and was not disappointed. I will definitely come back. Had the tacos al carbon and the flavor was exceptional!
